Who We Are and What We Do 

We are a writing group which has been meeting  in Sheffield, England, for over twelve years to encourage
people who have something to say, to say it well.
 

We meet in the United Reform Church Hall, Totley Brook Road SHEFFIELD S17
On Wednesday Evenings 19:00 - 21:00

         Each year we take part in a Literary Festival in Sheffield called Off the Shelf to which we contribute our Anthology of  work for the current year.

        The contents are, in the main, short stories, poems, travelogues, biography and articles on a wide variety of subjects.  We have many members who entrance us with their stories which we believe they have a wider  public available to them on the Internet. So we are presenting work by recent and current members  and hope you enjoy it. After you've read its pages we hope you'll agree with us.

We all know that books cost too much! We all love to read a good story.

We all know that there are more   good authors than there are companies to publish them!

We'd all love to think that we had helped directly to get a new author launched on a career that means that he/she can write more books for us.
